This is strictly speaking not a real cat-story, but in spite of it a cat is the number one in it. As a messenger and animal lover I get around much in a special area. This time a district was given to me for two days, which is not located in the immediate neighbourhood and is besides also relatively large. In this areal mostly wealthy people live in beautiful houses and near to a park. One of these beautiful houses belongs to a veterinary surgeon, who is well known by me an my deceased cats Peter and Paul. Well in this time of year it is dark for a long time in the morning, and therefore it's mostly more important carefully to prepare the set task. So on a mild early autumn day I set off to this aforementioned district to explore it. On the avenue, which I walked on at first, I only found monotony with partially hidden entrances. Not a cat to be seen, a fact, which I was not wondering about. |
Fortunately I also had side streets in my stand-in district, and there the situation seemed to be some more friendly. From one of those side streets also another side street branched off ,and there the friendly and high respected veterinary surgeon is supposed to be living. I went a little bit slowlier in order not to overlook the house. Then I stopped, I had reached the house. You couldn't really overlook it, because in front of the house a cat was sitting. She had a little bit funny coat pattern, and I thought by myself: 'well, she surly comes from the animal shelter'. I slowly walked up to her, because she stood still and rubbed her head at the wall. When I stood in front of her I bended down to her a little bit and asked her: 'You surely are Dr. xxx's cat, aren't you?' ' No', she answered quietly, 'it is myself.' On what I said leaving: 'Perhaps we meet on one of the next days.' She didn't reply anything to that. < previous issue next issue > We would like to point out that we translated articles from German into English for the purpose of service.
