It had become silent down in the kitchen. Usually we often heart loud laughter or a bright 'Miauuu' from another cat. But for some days these noises have been missed, and that aroused our curiosity. We are also two cats, you see, namely Karl and Kate, the inhabitans upstairs. Up to now we have sometimes taken the chance to go downstairs to take a look into the kitchen, but mostly we have been turned out, because it was the district of Krautzi and Kritzi. Both of them we got to know as well, and in these short moments we watched and sniffed each other interestedly. After that we went our seperate ways. That was always a great pity, because they were friendly cats and we would have liked to talk to them. In spite of this occasionally we went into the kitchen again, where sometime we only met Kritzi. She told us with a low voice, that Krautzi has died. After she had told us this fact, we were very sad, and also Kritzi was not the old one any longer. From now on we cared a little bit more for her, until, yes until she died too one year later. |
Unfortunately, that's the way it is, but strictly speaking there is nothing to stop our moving in into the kitchen or perhaps even further any longer. Our master also spends her time there many hours a day. When she is downstairs and opens the kitchen-door, we sometimes take the chance, to explore the room. There are such fantastic corners where you can hide yourself and here is located our, mmhhh, dearly beloved dry feed. Actually you just should stay here, but then we would have to take our feeding bowls and our loo with us. We think, that it's better to keep our main residence upstairs, but for a change it is very funny here downstairs. The Master of Krautzi and Kritzi seems to like us too, because he talks more often to us. It would actually be great, if we could go up into the cool cellar in summer, because upstairs ist getting too warm for us. The cellar of course we would have rent too. But still most of the time we are upstairs and in the night we sleep with our mama anyway. < previous issue next issue > We would like to point out that we translated articles from German into English for the purpose of service.
